Today we will talk about the Moon knight episode 3 review itself and another site.

Moon Knight episode rating is 4/5

Review by Mary Maerz: Site: Murphymultiverse

Moon Knight definitely feels more akin to drama with supernatural elements rather than an action-adventure. That fits with the notion that the show is truly a character study, but it can be a bit hard to reconcile with the general branding and advertisement, which certainly put the suited-up Moon Knight in more of a spotlight than the series has to date. Quite frankly, the Marc Spector-level element of the character has almost always been much more interesting than the vigilante one, but there is some amount of tension between natural expectations and watching the story play out. It could certainly be guessed that the series itself doesn’t exactly know where it stands in terms of its own focus and scope. While some might find it more difficult to sink into an MCU series with different tones and narrative themes, Oscar Isaac’s performance alone should be enough to convince anyone to give it a real shot.

Review by Breeze Riley: Site: The marvel Report

For those feeling like the show doesn’t have enough action, there is a pretty great fight sequence when Moon Knight has to fight off Anton’s thugs and we get to see the cape in its full moon-shaped glory.

The emotional core of the episode comes in the painful exchanges between Layla and Marc who alternate reminiscing on the good times and on the choices that drove them apart. You can’t help but root for the couple knowing that they still care for each other.

The trial of the Gods isn’t the only big set-piece though. Khonshu and Mr. Knight team up to literally turn back time in the night sky so they can use the ancient map to locate coordinates. It’s truly a beautiful, transportive example of special effects work.

It’s out of character for Khonshu to make such a sacrifice, knowing the Gods will imprison him for it, but I guess he’s pretty confident Marc will free him.

Will he though? It seems like he would be better off if Khonshu stayed gone.

Review by Sabina Graves: Site: Gizmodo

In episode three of Moon Knight, directed by Mohamed Diab, former partners and lovers reunite to stop Harrow (Ethan Hawke) from getting to Ammit’s tomb. Turns out working together is trickier for them with Marc (Oscar Isaac) needing to learn how to work with Steven (also Oscar Isaac) and Khonshu (F. Murray Abraham) in tow. Just as Layla (May Calamawy) begins to understand why Marc withdrew, Harrow unveils truths that prove she might have never really known him at all.

Review by Shannon Corbeil: Site We are the mighty

This is not to be their moment of resolution. Conflict breaks out, forcing Marc and Layla to fight Mogart and his bodyguards. Harrow arrives and promptly destroys the sarcophagus — and hints at a secret about Layla’s father that Marc has been keeping. We get another glimpse at Layla’s fighting capabilities and an understanding of why Khonshu would want her as his next avatar should Marc fail him.

They manage to steal the remnants of the map from the sarcophagus and Steven is able to piece them together and, with the help of Khonshu, turn back the night sky two thousand years to find the location of Ammit’s tomb. Khonshu knows that doing so will come at a price, so he tells Steven to bid Marc free him from the stone the gods will imprison him in (and they do).
